Today is a defining day in President Dilma Rousseff’s government- there will be a vote in the Chamber of Deputies on the impeachment of the President. In order for the process to go forward, a two thirds majority must be in favor of impeachment. If the Chamber of Deputies votes in favor of the impeachment, the process moves forward to the Senate, where the impeachment must receive a simple majority of the votes. If this happens, Rousseff will be removed from office for 180 days, while she is awaiting judgement. In that case, Vice President Temer will become President for those 180 days.

Lord Balfour Was an Imperialist Warmonger

We should give our full solidarity to the Palestine Action comrade who defaced a portrait of Arthur Balfour at Cambridge University. But the problem for everyone who opposes the genocide against Gaza is how to massify and politically equip the movement.
