A Working-Class Program for Safe School Reopenings

Black Disenfranchisement Is Ingrained in the U.S. Election System

As President Trump urges his base to commit voter fraud in an attempt to help him win the November election, it is imperative to note that the United States has regularly, since its beginnings, barred much of its population from basic voting rights. Today, voter suppression predominantly impacts the Black and brown people, and this suppression must be denounced and done away with.

Abolish the Police Means Abolish ICE Too

In light of the protests demanding the defunding or the abolition of police, it is imperative that we recognize that local police and ICE are working hand in hand. ICE is detaining protesters and attempting to deport them. We need to abolish both ICE and the police.

Socialism is The Future. Our Generation Will Win It.

We are in the midst of widespread uprisings against racist state violence, led by a vanguard of Black youth. With more and more young people pushing forward and leading social movements, working class  youth must ensure  our movements don’t fall away or be co-opted by the Democratic Party. We need to create a political party of our own, one that has the youth united with the working class to take the fight directly to the capitalist system.

No More Deaths for Geopolitical Prestige — Make Medical Research Available to All

The U.S. government has resolved to protect American research on Covid-19. By refusing to share research, the global effort to develop and distribute a vaccine is hampered. This will cause thousands, if not millions, of more deaths throughout the world. We demand an end to biomedical nationalism and demand medical research be shared across nations.

Joe Biden called for justice for Ahmaud Arbery. But Joe Biden’s racist, imperialist political career has directly contributed to Arbery’s death. This blatant and disgusting display is nothing more than a cheap political tool. He doesn’t deserve to say Arbery’s name.

Two Mexican Environmental Activists Have Been Assassinated. The State is Responsible.

Less than a week after Homero Gómez Gonzalez, an eminent environmentalist, was drowned in Mexico, another activist, Raúl Hernandez, was found dead at the top of a hill. Puerto Rico has been ravaged by a series of natural disasters since 2017. Though it is a U.S. “territory,” the U.S. government has failed to provide adequate aid or assistance.
