People carried banners and signs, reading messages supporting Greek workers and people, rejecting the Troika’s blackmail.

Nicolas Del Caño and Myriam Bregman, running for president and vice president candidates in the next primary election of the Left and the Workers’ Front showed solidarity with the Greek people.

They held a banner: Cancel the Greek Debt / NO to the Troika / Say YES to the Greek people’s fight” (“No a la Troika – Si a la lucha del pueblo griego”). Several candidates joined them at the rally.

Dozens of fighting trade union activists, workers and Partido de los Trabajadores Socialistas (PTS, Socialist Workers Party) leaders were among the crowd. Victoria Moyano Artigas (a recovered granddaughter -daughter of desaparecidos- and a human rights activist); and Andrea D’Atri, one of the leaders of Women’s organization Pan y Rosas (Bread and Roses). Patricio del Corro, candidate for Buenos Aires city’s legislator; and Claudio Dellecarbonara, a member of the Subway Union Executive Secretary, were also part of the mobilization.

People at the rally said: NO to the imperialist blackmail! Drop Greece’s debt!
No to austerity!
