The Virtual Latin American and the United States Conference was convened by the Workers Left Front (FIT-U) of Argentina, and it took place between July 30 and August 1. This is the initial assessment that was published in La Izquierda Diario by leaders of the Trotskyist Fraction–Fourth International.

More than 50 organizations from across Latin America and the United States participated. Vergara’s intervention was part of a panel on the global and U.S. situation.

Internationalist Rally: Thousands Show Up Against Racism and Police Violence

The virtual rally was organized by socialist organizations from Latin America, the United States, and Europe, which are members of the news network, La Izquierda Diario. The livestream reached nearly 6,000 individual connections from around the world during the live broadcast. It was simultaneously translated into seven languages: English, French, Portuguese, Italian, Spanish, German, and Spanish sign language (SSL).
