More than six months after Israel began its genocidal assault on Gaza, the movement on universities is the epicenter of the movement for Palestine. Gaza Solidarity Encampments, inspired by students at Columbia University, have popped up across the country — and faced harsh repression. Students and faculty have been tear gassed, tased, arrested, suspended, and fired for their activism at the hands of university administrators, police, and the State.
We invite any university students, staff, or faculty who want to write about their own experience, the movement on their campuses, about the need for solidarity with the student movement, or about the path forward for the movement as universities head into summer vacation to submit articles and pitches.\
We are proud to stand with the university movement and we want to amplify the voices of the participants. You can contact us at [email protected] or DM us on Instagram or X.
